Clara is a Riverside native and has been a licensed Cosmetologist for over 12 years. She graduated top of her class from Riverside Community College school of Cosmetology. Clara has since received extensive training in skincare, speed body waxing, and the art of eyebrow shaping. Clara was in the medical field prior to becoming an Esthetician, but her interest for the beauty industry lead her to take a leap of faith and switch careers completely. She was one of the first Esthetician’s hired at The Wax Lounge and had a full clientele by her sixth month on the floor. She sure knows how to win her client’s over and pamper them.

Demi is a smart, bombshell, boss babe, entrepreneur originally from Brooklyn, New York.  The sassy’n well humored Puerto Rican Latina moved from the East Coast as a little girl, to the orange groves of Riverside in 1980.  Demi was raised Seventh Day Adventist and learned to love God, good health and diet as a kid.  She attributes her excellent health and youthfulness to her life-long vegetarian diet.  

Demi came from very humble beginnings, but was always an overachiever, driven, ambitious and had natural business acumen.  As a little girl, Demi, sold candy, from door to door in her neighborhood and taught piano lessons to other children and the elderly, to help support her family financially. 

Demi attended grade school, middle school, high school and college all in the Riverside districts.  Demi graduated early from high school and enrolled in a paralegal certification program earning her certificate prior to her high school graduation before turning 18 years old.  Later, she was accepted into the prestigious Registered Nursing programs of Loma Linda University as well as Riverside Community College, where she ultimately attended.  In college, she began the challenging and grueling nursing program at Riverside Community College and successfully completed many clinical rotations in the ER, OB, Med Surge, and OR departments of Riverside Community Hospital, Loma Linda University Hospital, Parkview Hospital, Corona Medical Regional Center, and Riverside County Regional Medical Center.  She absorbed as much knowledge and wisdom from the nurses and doctors she came into contact with and developed many lasting friendships and relationships in the medical community.  Although Demi considered pursuing a Medical degree post nursing, Demi’s aspirations, innovative, creative mind, grit and courage propelled her towards the ever demanding, thick-skinned entrepreneurial path.  

In 2003, she founded The Wax Lounge, a fine advanced skin care and full body waxing establishment which has continued to flourish over the last 2 decades in Riverside.  While attending nursing school, she also co-founded two skincare product lines, Your Undercarriage and Skin Luxe & Company, New York.  

The posh and bougie Wax Lounge, offers over 200 services; is the home of the 10 minute Brazilian wax and Manzilians; offers waxing services for men and women, advanced skincare and intimate lightening.  The Wax Lounge holds the bar high, with its knowledgeable and highly trained staff in advanced esthetics, in the Inland Empire.  The business philosophy is one of serving the community, catering to the clients and delivering top notch service with results.  The salon, located in a historical property, hangs gorgeous chandeliers throughout and the modern floral surroundings deck the walls, giving it an air of femininity.  You may suddenly, spot the deeply amusing and comical side of Demi with the funny gags of vagina and penis planters, the Beaver mascot, the service names and descriptions that will make any prude chuckle and smile.

Your Undercarriage was created to help solve skin issues in the intimate, down below the belted areas to assist with Folliculitis, ingrown hairs, bumps, undesired blemishes, Hyperpigmentation and body acne to help both men and women feel comfortable and amazing in their birthday suits! She was especially proud when Your Undercarriage was introduced and shared with Hollywood elites and celebrities in the prestigious and coveted Oscar Swag bags years back.

Skin Luxe & Company, New York was created with pharmaceutical grade and concentrated actives to assist with challenging skin conditions such as: Hyperpigmentation, Acne and aging skin.  This line has successfully helped thousands achieve beautiful and healthy skin over the past decade.

This Skincare Majesty and Waxing Queen Bee, has 28 years of skincare, medical esthetics, body waxing, and spa and beauty industry expertise.  She is formally trained as a medical aesthetician, cosmetologist, massage therapist and has a nursing background.  She’s trained with Damone Roberts, the Eyebrow King of Hollywood.  Over the years, Demi has also done advanced training for other professionals in the industry.  She has worked on numerous LaLaLand celebrities, the Chargers (at the time the San Diego Chargers), and some of the most elite of Rancho Santa Fe, California.  

Demi has always had a passion for medicine, the sciences, and helping others believe in themselves and achieve.  She has the ability to see greatness and finds much happiness and joy in inspiring others to grow.  She loves being involved with charitable organizations and hopes in the future to establish non-profit organizations for inner city children, teaching business techniques and smarts to them and single mothers.  These type of organizations are close and dear to her heart as she supports making our world a better place. 

Demi has also loved fashion ever since she stepped into her mom’s high heels in New York City as a toddler.  Her other passion is traveling, exploring the world, experiencing new cultures, music, art, meeting new people, and eating new foods.  With almost 40 countries seen and experienced under her belt, she feels immensely blessed and forever grateful to have experienced some of the most magical moments of her life in foreign and exotic lands abroad.

In Demi’s spare time she collects friends.  She has a great love for people and human connectivity. She is the “social one,” always gathering friends, family and bringing people together.  She is VERY loved by her friends, family and all who come into contact with her.  She’s a naturally warm, loving and caring person with streaks of silliness, hilarious antics and a witty personality.  

Her latest endeavor is to obtain her California Real Estate license and pursue the commercial and investing sectors.
