Born in Brooklyn and raised among the orange groves of Riverside since 1980, Demi is a proud Puerto Rican Latina with East Coast spice and West Coast glow.
Raised in the Seventh-day Adventist faith, she learned the value of God, good health, and clean eating from a young age—and credits her glowing skin and forever-
young energy to a life-long vegetarian diet (and maybe some skincare magic too).

Demi’s story starts with hustle: selling candy door-to-door and teaching piano to kids and elders to help support her family. Always a go-getter, she graduated high
school early, earned her paralegal certification before she turned 18, and was later accepted into prestigious nursing programs like Loma Linda University and RCC.
She completed tough clinical rotations in ER, OB, OR—you name it—all while soaking up wisdom from top doctors and nurses across the Inland Empire.

But the white coat wasn’t her final calling. With grit, creativity, and thick skin (essential for both nurses andentrepreneurs), Demi answered her true calling: skincare
and self-made success.

In 2003, she launched The Wax Lounge—a posh, chandelier-drenched haven for advanced skincare, body waxing, and intimate lightening. It's now a Riverside
staple and local legend. The Lounge is cheeky, chic, and full of personality—complete with naughty planters, a beaver mascot, and service names that’ll make even
the shyest client laugh out loud.

Along the way, Demi co-founded two product lines:

✨ Your Undercarriage – for tackling all the down-there skin concerns like ingrowns, blemishes, hyperpigmentation, and body acne. It even made it into Oscar
swag bags.

✨ Skin Luxe & Company, New York – a pharmaceutical-grade skincare line for acne, aging, and pigmentation, helping thousands get that “you just got a facial”
glow.

With 28 years in the industry, Demi is a licensed medical esthetician, cosmetologist, massage therapist, and skincare guru. She trained with Hollywood’s Eyebrow
King, Damone Roberts, and has worked on celebs, pro athletes, and the elite of Rancho Santa Fe.

But beauty is just the beginning.

Demi’s passion runs deep: she lives to inspire, uplift, and empower others—especially women, single moms, and kids from underserved communities. She’s a
believer in building legacy, giving back, and making the world better, one wax strip (or business tip) at a time. Her dream? Launch nonprofit programs to teach real-
life business skills and self-worth to the next generation.

She’s also a certified world explorer, having visited nearly 40 countries, a true fashionista since slipping into her mom’s high heels as a toddler, and a self-
proclaimed “friend collector” who’s always bringing people together with her signature warmth, wit, and hilarious antics.

Most recently, Demi added a new chapter to her resume: California Real Estate Agent (2024)—now diving into residential, commercial, and investment real estate
with the same passion and hustle she brings to the beauty world.
