A smart, sassy, well-humored Brooklyn-born Puerto Rican bombshell, Demi moved from the East Coast to the orange groves of Riverside as a little girl in 1980.

Raised Seventh-day Adventist, she grew up with a deep love for God, wellness, and nutrition—values she still lives by today.   A lifelong vegetarian, Demi proudly credits her vibrant health and youthful glow to the habits she learned early on.

Demi’s story begins with humble roots—but ambition was always part of her DNA. Even as a child, she had hustle in her heart and business on her mind. She sold candy door-to-door in her neighborhood and taught piano lessons to children and seniors alike, helping support her family financially long before “side hustles” were trendy.

Educated entirely in the Riverside school districts, Demi graduated high school early and completed a paralegal certification program before turning 18—before officially receiving her high school diploma. Overachiever? Always.

Her passion for science and helping others led her into the rigorous world of nursing. Demi was accepted into the Registered Nursing programs at Loma Linda University and Riverside Community College, ultimately attending RCC. There, she completed demanding clinical rotations in ER, OB, Med-Surg, Pediatrics and the OR, training at some of Southern California’s most respected hospitals. Along the way, she absorbed invaluable medical knowledge, built lifelong relationships, and developed a strong foundation in clinical care.

While she considered pursuing a medical degree, Demi’s creative, innovative spirit—and her unmistakable grit—called her toward entrepreneurship.

In 2003, Demi founded The Wax Lounge, a fine advanced skincare and full-body waxing establishment that has flourished in Riverside for over two decades. While still attending nursing school, she also co-founded two skincare lines: Your Undercarriage and Skin Luxe & Company, New York.

Today, The Wax Lounge is known as a posh, bougie, results-driven beauty destination, offering over 200 services, including the famous 10-minute Brazilian and Manzilian, advanced skincare, intimate lightening, and services for all genders. With one of the most highly trained esthetics teams in the Inland Empire, the salon proudly sets the bar high for education, professionalism, and results.

Housed in a beautiful historic property, The Wax Lounge blends luxury and femininity—sparkling chandeliers, modern florals, and an unmistakable sense of style. And then there’s Demi’s signature humor: vagina and penis planters, the iconic Beaver mascot, cheeky service names, and descriptions guaranteed to make even the most proper guest crack a smile.

Your Undercarriage was created to address intimate skincare concerns such as folliculitis, ingrown hairs, hyperpigmentation, blemishes, and body acne—helping both men and women feel confident and comfortable in their birthday suits. Demi was especially proud when the line was featured in prestigious Oscar Swag Bags, shared with Hollywood elites and celebrities.

Skin Luxe & Company, New York was developed with pharmaceutical-grade, highly concentrated actives to treat challenging skin conditions including acne, hyperpigmentation, and aging. Over the past decade, it has helped thousands achieve healthier, more radiant skin.

With 28 years of experience in skincare, medical esthetics, body waxing, and the spa and beauty industry, Demi is formally trained as a medical aesthetician, cosmetologist, massage therapist, and has a strong nursing background. She trained with Damone Roberts, the Eyebrow King of Hollywood, has educated other professionals in advanced techniques, and has worked on celebrities, professional athletes (including the San Diego Chargers), and elite clientele throughout Southern California.

At her core, Demi is deeply passionate about medicine, science, and empowering others to believe in themselves. She has a natural gift for seeing potential and takes great joy in inspiring growth. Philanthropy is close to her heart, and she hopes to one day establish nonprofit organizations supporting inner-city youth and single mothers—teaching business skills and self-belief to the next generation.  She also supports sex trafficking  organizations in her community.

Demi’s love for fashion began the moment she slipped into her mother’s high heels as a toddler in New York City. Her other great passion is travel—immersing herself in new cultures, art, music, and cuisine. Having explored nearly 40 countries, she remains endlessly grateful for the magical experiences she’s had around the world.

In her spare time, Demi does what she does best: collects friends. She is the social glue—the one who gathers friends, family, and community together. Known for her warmth, generosity, quick wit, and playful humor, Demi is deeply loved by all who know her.

Her newest chapter includes having earned her California Real Estate License, with plans to expand into commercial real estate and investment ventures—because growth never stops.

Looking Ahead: 2026

As 2026 unfolds, Demi is entering a season of curiosity, growth, and joyful expansion. She’s deeply excited about learning new things, trying new experiences, and continuing to evolve—personally, spiritually, creatively, and professionally.

This year, she has committed to reading the King James Bible from start to finish, grounding herself more deeply in faith, reflection, and purpose.

She is also embracing movement and artistry in new ways—taking horseback riding lessons with a true gentleman of a horse named Hawk, and stepping into confidence and self-expression through sexy burlesque dance classes at a local studio.

Health and fitness are a strong focus this year, along with continuing to challenge herself outside her comfort zone—including spending time at the local shooting range, sharpening skills and discipline in yet another arena.

Creatively, Demi is thrilled to begin acting and film training at the Howard Fine Studios in Los Angeles, exploring storytelling, performance, and a long-held love for film from a new, exciting perspective.

Never one to stop growing academically, Demi is also considering applying to a nursing program by the end of the year in San Diego to complete her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)—bringing her full-circle back to medicine, science, and service.

At her core, Demi believes life is meant to be lived fully—with faith, courage, curiosity, humor, and heart. And as always, she approaches each new chapter with grace, grit, and a little sparkle.
